I used my GameSim+ subscription to allow me to sim each matchup 50 times and gather projected stats. Let's see who will win the ACC Championship...
Tuesday
NC State beats Wake Forest 73-71.
- Cat Barber leads the way with 24 points and 4 assists
- Abu adds 14 points and 10 rebounds.
FSU tops BC 75-63.
- Bacon leads the Noles with 16 points, while Beasley adds 15 and XRM adds 14 in the victory.
- Eli Carters leads BC with 16 in the loss, while Clifford pitches in 11
Wednesday
Pitt beats Syracuse 71-66
- Michael Young leads the way with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Artis adds 13 and 5.
- Gbinije leads Cuse with 15 pts, 4 ast, 4 reb, Cooney just 3-11 shooting.
Duke beats NC State 80-70
- Allen leads the way for Duke with 22 points, 4 rebs, and 3 ast. Ingram adds 17 points, 7 rebounds while Plumlee adds a double-double with 10 pts and 12 rebs.
- Barber scores 22 on 6-17 shooting in the loss.
Clemson beats Georgia Tech 71-67
- Blossomgame leads the way with 19 points, 7 rebounds
- MGH leads Tech with 18 points, while Adam Smith struggled to get it going scoring just 8 points on 3-13 shooting.
FSU beats Virginia Tech 73-67
- The trio of Bacon, Beasley, and XRM lead the way again as the three combined to score 40 points in the victory
- The Hokies couldn't get anything to drop on the offensive and despite a late surge couldn't prevail. LeDay (15) and Allen (14) led the team in scoring.
Thursday
UNC beats Pitt 75-70
- A ho-hum 20 points, 8 rebounds for Brice Johnson leads the Heels past Pitt
- Michael Young adds 16 in the loss
Notre Dame beats Duke 76-73
- Every Notre Dame starter scored in double figures, led by 15 from Demetrius Jackson and Zach Auguste.
- Duke goes 8-22 from 3 but just couldn't get stops. Allen leads Duke with 19 in the loss.
Virginia beats Clemson 66-60
- Brogdon 15 points, Gill 13 points lead the Hoos to victory
- Blossomgame was the only Clemson player in double-figures with 17.
Miami beats FSU 77-69
- McClellan scores 19, Reed adds 15, and Good Angel shows up and scores 14 for the Canes in victory
- Turnovers and poor FT shooting doomed the Noles, Beasley leads the way with 15 in the loss.
Friday
UNC beats Notre Dame 75-72
- Brice Johnson leads the way with 17 and 10, while Berry, Jackson, and Paige also reach double-figures.
- Auguste gets a double-double with 15 and 10 boards in the loss.
Virginia beats Miami 71-68
- UVA led by Brogdon 17 points, Gill 15 points, Perrantes 11 points
- McClellan leads the way with 15 points for the Canes in the loss
Saturday
UNC wins the ACC Championship beating Virginia 73-69
- An off night for Brice Johnson, who scores just 13 points, but his teammates pick him up with 8 players scoring at least 6 points in the win.
- Brogdon did everything he could to keep UVA in it scoring 21 points in the loss.
